WASHINGTON – EWG’s Executive Director Heather White has been named one of the top 100 Women To Watch In Wellness by popular health and wellness website MindBodyGreen.

Staffers at MindBodyGreen curated a list of female leaders who are helping people change the way they eat, move and live. “If anyone’s going to motivate you to be your best self, it's the ladies on our 100 Women To Watch in Wellness list,” reads the introduction.

White was recognized alongside doctors, celebrities, chefs, journalists and advocates including the legendary primatologist Jane Goodall, media mogul Arianna Huffington, entrepreneur and health pioneer Anne Wojcicki, filmmaker Laurie David, actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba, breast cancer prevention advocate Dr. Marcia Weiss, gastroenterologist and microbiome expert Dr. Robynne Chutkan, wellness author Kris Carr, and CNN hero and food activist Robin Emmons.

“It is truly an honor to be listed next to so many incredibly inspiring and courageous women,” said White. “So many of these women have had such a positive influence on my life and career that I am humbled to be recognized with them.  I hope together we can encourage and empower more women to join the fight in changing the world so that we can all live in a greener and healthier environment.”

MindBodyGreen writes, White “is on a mission to effect policy changes that make our world a cleaner and greener place.”
