WHAT THE COMPANY SAYS ABOUT HOW THEIR PRODUCT WORKS

The hair structure The hair is made of keratin which is part of the skin, which is a basic hair structure. The keratin is like, intertwined rope involving multiple layers for gloss and protection. The cuticle is the outside part of the hair , and is composed of layers that protects the hair structure. It must be well sealed to keep moisture and proteins inside hair, keeping it strong and at the same time soft and shiny. The cortex is the largest hair layer, and the structure that provides flexibility and at the same natural color (pigment). Due to chemical processes such as dyes, relaxation, discoloration and the physical processes such as sun, pollution, salt and sea, the cuticles open, leaving the hair more porous and therefore, without gloss, and also more fragile and brittle. The pH The pH (potential of Hydrogen) existing in the various products and their influence on the hair PH goes from 0 to 14. The substance pH 0 to 7 is acid, 7 to 14 alkaline. Destilated water a pH of 7. Alkaline products can open or dilated the hair, leaving them more vulnerable, less resistant and more opaque. It is the case for common relaxing products in the market, which have calcium hydroxide, sodium or guanidine thioglycolate and Ammonia. The acid product, has low pH that provides immediate hair cuticle closing, so that they can recover the brightness and gain strength. The product from Spazzola Progressiva Claudia Pazzini Mel Brasil in Italy ® system has a pH between 3.5 and 4.0. 4.0. [link]

AVAILABLE FOR DIRECT PURCHASE BY CONSUMERS?

A loophole in federal labeling law allows companies to sell "professional use" products without the ingredient label required on all other personal care products, so the use of formaldehyde can be hidden. Nearly all of the hair straightening products surveyed by EWG are marketed for professional use only. Despite these claims, EWG found that consumers can easily purchase "professional use" products through online retailers. Retailers identified for Spazzola Progressiva products are listed below:
